Essence of the word “Karam” is difficult to encompass in one word. It means “benevolence” or “bestowal of goodness” or “compassionate generosity.” The word “Bagh” means a “garden” which implies “life” and “growth” and “nurturing.
Karam Bagh is an all-inclusive welfare estate with a focus on Youth Development. It is located midway between Lahore and Rawalpindi, two kilometers off the GT Road near Kharian, Distt. Gujrat, Pakistan. It is a project of Brig. Sahib Dad Khan Welfare Trust (BSDKWT)
Karam Bagh offers affordable Primary and Secondary Education, Male and Female Vocational Training, Primary Pediatric and Eye Health Care, Shelter for Children of Women-Led Households, Female Adult Literacy, and Social Mobilization and Empowerment Programs for the needy and underprivileged people of the area
The Model
Develop facilities in a ten-acre area and establish partnerships with reputed organizations in their respective fields to conduct the following activities and avail of the synergy and symbiosis of close proximity.
